"Serving and Protecting the Community"

The Town of Bethany participates in the Connecticut State Police Resident Trooper Program to provide police services to the town.  

Resident Trooper Ryan Piccirillo, and Bethany Administrative Lieutenant David Merriam, supervise the resident trooper program in town.

All the Bethany Police Officers are certified by the Connecticut Police Academy and have received specialized training in such areas as accident investigation, DARE, crime prevention techniques, and criminal investigation techniques.  

The Dispatch Communication system is through the CT State Police Bethany Troop I.
