FAQ on MSW Bid
Is the contractor responsible to pay the tipping/dump fees at Weelabrator or will the town be paying the fees as they are now?
- The Town pays tipping fees at Wheelabrator.
Please clarify the recycling pick up schedule as well whether or not carts need to be provided.
- Recycling pick up will be bi-weekly in a vendor supplied 96 gallon container.
The language "unlimited number of containers" is confusing. If the hauler is providing one cart per home, where are these other bins or carts coming from?
- Trash will be picked up in vendor provided containers only.
Please clarify, 100% bid surety, 100% of first month, 100% of first year, or 100% of 5 years?
