Town of Bethany Welcomes Michael Centoni as New Youth Recreation Program Manager
The Town of Bethany is proud to announce the hiring of Michael Centoni as the new Youth Recreation Program Manager within the Parks and Recreation Department. Michael joins the Town from the Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Greater New Haven, bringing with him a dynamic background in youth programming and a passion for building vibrant, inclusive recreational experiences for the community.
Michael steps into a vital leadership role where he will oversee a wide array of youth-focused initiatives, including after-school programs, vacation camps, and special events. With years of experience managing community-centered programming, he is well-prepared to help elevate Bethany’s youth recreation offerings to new heights.

As Youth Recreation Program Manager, Michael will play a key role in evaluating and addressing the recreational needs of local youth and families. His responsibilities include developing and supervising programs, managing staff, overseeing budgets, implementing effective marketing strategies, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment across all activities and facilities.
Michael expressed enthusiasm for his new position, stating, “I’m excited to join the Town of Bethany and work with such a supportive and passionate community.
