The tax collector is responsible for:

• Collecting all assessed taxes: motor vehicle, real estate and personal property taxes;

• Posting taxpayer payments and abatements to accounts receivable records;

• Processing any refunds due to taxpayers;

• Processing tax-delinquent property into Tax Lien Status;
