Our District Officers respond when there is a public safety issue
that involves a domestic animal. This includes injured dogs or cats,
roaming or stray dogs (day hours only), any complaint that involves a
dog bite or cat scratch and any mammal that appears to be rabid, wild or
domestic. DAC Officers can advise on other animal issues and refer
residents to agencies dealing with a specific issue. We accept sign-over
dogs and cats on an available space basis. |

Our Officers have investigated many rabid
animal complaints
PLEASE VACCINATE YOUR ANIMALS!
Please don’t forget to license your dogs.
