The Board
of Finance is responsible for establishing a proposed budget to submit to an
Annual Town Meeting. The Board makes recommendations on proposed capital
expenditures and methods of financing them for action by a Town Meeting. It
monitors financial activity during the year, makes internal budget
adjustments and is empowered to take certain emergency actions. |

During the budgeting season the Board usually meets two to three times per
