Board of Finance

The Board of Finance is responsible for establishing a proposed budget to submit to an Annual Town Meeting. The Board makes recommendations on proposed capital expenditures and methods of financing them for action by a Town Meeting. It monitors financial activity during the year, makes internal budget adjustments and is empowered to take certain emergency actions.

The Board holds regular meetings on the first Tuesday of each month. During the budgeting season the Board usually meets two to three times per month. Contact the secretary for specific meeting times and agenda items.
