Committee members (particularly
Nancy McCarthy) worked hard selling souvenir items during the 175th Anniversary
events. Items will continue to be available for sale while there is still
interest.

"The
Romance of the Pipes"
The Bethany 175th Anniversary commitee is grateful to Bethany
Bisaillion for having contacted us with this email:
***
I am writing to you after doing a search on the internet for
175th Anniversary Celebrations. I am opening a Celtic
College here in Ottawa, and am working with both the 175
Rideau Canal Committee and the 175th Anniversary of Scotia
McLeod and came across your site. I am a bagpiper, and have
done a compilation CD of some of my best work that I would
like to donate to your celebrations, and you have my
permission to make copies of it to sell in aid of any of
your charitable causes. If you like, I can mail you one for
you to have as a gift from me. I don't know anyone else with
my name, so have an affection for your town's name! Thank
you kindly, all the best,
Bethany Bisaillion
