Russell Homestead Open House

The house will be open to the public featuring tours showing many furnishings, clothes, pictures and tools from the 200 years of occupation by the Russell family. A history of the family, which represents a typical subsistence farm in Bethany, will be part of the display. The grounds will be open for public inspection, as well as some of the barns. Sheep shearing and goat milk soap making demonstrations are also planned.
